TAWKX is developing an innovative digital platform called Ultimate Speech Sounds, which is designed to assess and treat children with Speech Sound Disorders. These disorders account for 40-70% of speech therapy caseloads worldwide. We aim to reduce waiting lists and make intervention accessible to all the children who need it by transitioning from traditional paper methods to digital solutions. This platform offers a modern approach to delivering evidence-based treatment.

TAWKX also empowers parents by placing their child’s treatment in their hands – on any device! We provide engaging and fun exercises transforming home practice into high-frequency sessions as recommended in evidence-based practice. Available to English-speaking children in seven countries, our unique child avatar, DARA®, assists children in learning to speak in their own accent while tracking metrics, enabling clinicians to adjust treatment effectively.

The platform was created by Founder and CEO Kate Beckett, a dual-qualified Speech-Language Pathologist and Nurse, who is also the author of the clinical textbook entitled “Ultimate Speech Sounds”.
