Kevin R. Bock, MD, MHCDS, is the Chief Health Information Officer at Northwell Health and an Attending Physician in the Division of Critical Care Medicine at the Steven and Alexander Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York. As a member of the Physician Faculty of Northwell for 25 years, Dr. Bock remains clinically active in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and recently served as an Attending Physician in adult Intensive Care Units during the CoVID-19 pandemic response. Board-certified in Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatrics, Sleep Medicine, and Internal Medicine, Dr. Bock’s clinical foci spans all facets of Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. In his role as the Chief Health Information OƯicer, Dr. Bock leads the Medical, Nursing, Quality, and Health Information Exchange Informatics teams. His health informatics interests center on optimizing clinician cognitive load, user-centered design and usability, clinical decision support, comparative eƯicacy, quality, and predictive analytics
